The essential oil of marjoram is obtained from the leaves of Origanum majorana, a plant of the Lamiaceae family. Known for its many properties, it plays abalsamic action e antidolorifica, and it is useful againstcramps, insomnia, coughs and colds.

Marjoram in addition to being used as an aromatic plant has excellent medicinal properties. An essential oil rich in tannins, flavonoids and terpenes is extracted from marjoram.

How to use:

 

Diffusion: pour 3 - 5  drops and water into an ultrasonic diffuser

Topical: Apply neat or diluted in dōTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil

Internal use: put 1 - 2 drops under the tongue or take in capsules. It can be used in drinks or as a flavoring in the kitchen.
